Happy with our Healing Salve? Let us know!
Ingredients: Organic Vitamin E Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Beeswax, and the following premium essential oils: Lavender, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Myrrh, Tea Tree, Ylang Ylang, and Helichrysum.
Product Notes: The little concentrated specks of beads are little butter bits that have solidified as they have cooled down during the production process. Natural unrefined/unprocessed butters like Virgin Shea and Coconut will occasionally separate in some products while temperatures change, however this is nothing to worry about. Those concentrated beads of butter will melt as you massage the product into your skin. We don’t formulate our products with synthetic stabilizers or emulsifiers and understand unrefined and virgin botanical butters can be more difficult to work with, but we also know they are much more nourishing!
Caution: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
Storage: Keep salve in a cool place and away from heat exposure to avoid melting. The quality and healing properties are not affected by melting.
Shelf-Life: Approximately 1 year with recommended storage. Salve is not water-based.
Shipping: Salve does not contain synthetic stabilizers that allow them to maintain the same consistency through all temperatures. As a result, glass jars combined with hot temperatures may soften and even melt in transit. Though most salves arrive without melting, please understand, there is no way we can completely control the high heat temperatures of summer, trucks and mailboxes during transit. TIP: On sunny or warm days, it is best to refrigerate for approximately 10 minutes BEFORE opening the jars. If you open the jar to check if is has melted, it may spill out and make a mess.
